*PRE-ORDER* "Pauvre Bête, Leonce" Mug
In Cajun French, "pauvre bête" (pronounced "pohv bet") means poor thing or poor soul and is used as an endearing term or to express pity, similar to saying "bless her heart".
This design is dedicated to all of the stories told in our "coffee talk" videos about Sarah's cousin “Leonce”. Our favorite fictitious fool, Leonce, loves to ride his bicycle everywhere and is always up to something—usually causing a ruckus or doing something foolish. Everybody knows a Leonce!

I had to have the mug since the Leonce stories are my favorites. My daddy's family is from Mouton Switch. He was born and raised there and we loved his stories. We have tantes and noncs and everyone who's a good friend is family too. Momma's family's from Broussard. She was raised in Lafayette. There were some famous ones in her family too! It's our Cajun heritage that makes us who we are. That's why I love Leonce! He's one of the family just like Koa and Sarah!
The two sales ladies were helpful, informative, polite and gosh darn they were funny. It was a joyful purchase for my bride and I. I believe these two ladies deserve a raise.
