"Virgie" Dehydrated Sourdough Starter

I am so thrilled to report that rehydrating Virgie was EASY and a SUCCESS!! I had previously tried to do my own starter for a month, we were making progress but she just wasn’t strong enough and I was anxious to start making successful loaves. I purchased Virgie, followed the directions- their video on YouTube also helped for a visual. 5 days later Rita was born (I named her after my late grandmother). Since then I have baked a successful loaf, sandwich bread and cinnasticks. I have followed some of their sourdough recipes on YouTube and have only had success!!! It’s truly a purchase that keeps giving.

So excited, my Virgie (now Selma the sourdough) bloomed and blossomed just as promised. The instructions were simple and easy to follow! So excited to get baking!!!

Virgie has performed really well and has given birth to a beautiful loaf!!!

I love all of my Cajun Mamas items. I will order more in the future.

This is the first time I've had a sourdough starter work! All my previous attempts have been miserable failures. Virgie is the best!!
